My Background

To options for our response:
I have been an active Realtor for 33 years spending 29 years of that time working in the Gig Harbor/Fox Island market. And throughout that time, I have experienced a large variety of real estate market swings from the early 80's interest rates in the teens to the boom of the early 2000's and then surviving the bubble bust of the 2007 on up years. I am happy for my clients that the market is again thriving and home values are rising again. I believe that the experience of the past few years has made the market a stronger and wiser manager of people's investment in the American dream.

This Is My Home Too

I have lived on Fox Island since 1985 and know well the Fox Island/Gig Harbor area. As a Master Gardener Emeritus I have been involved in numerous volunteer projects for the community and presently write a monthly garden column for the Fox Island web page and a garden column for the Gateway newspaper. My involvement in the community also includes being on the Board of Directors for the Fox Island Chapel Preservation Society on Echo Bay. The historic 115 year old building hosts weddings in the charming waterfront building and is an asset to the whole community. I also have been instrumental in forming a Real Estate Commission group to inform agents of safety and all real estate issues. Since being widowed several years ago, I realized the need for women who recently have lost their husbands to come together and share success stories of traversing the road blocks placed by corporate institutions on those left in an unfamiliar situations and have organized a group called the Merry Widows. Our groups tries to help the newly widowed by letting them know there are those of us who not only understand their sorrow but also their frustrations and help one another deal with those issues. As a member of the Fox Island Garden Club, we regularly groom the garden at the Welcome sign/ map and also the gazebo at the Community Center and last but not least have been a co-chairman the annual Jeff Feagin Plant sale for the past 20 years. I not only live in the community but I strive to make it an even more welcoming place for people to live.
A major concern I have for buyers is to help them become acquainted with their neighborhood and introduce them to people and activities that will help them feel welcome. And I find I am often helping to sell their homes and having to say good-by to those good friends that I helped find a home for years before and were happy to work with me again.

My Creed

The interests of my clients always come before my own. I am guided by this important ethical standard which is paramount to my success as a real estate agent. If you are seeking a highly trained real estate professional to help you buy or sell your home, look no further. Well thought of within the industry, I am dedicated to fulfilling the needs of my clients.
